Kiosk mode

Turn any tablet, phone, or shared browser into a secure attendance kiosk for your location.

Kiosk mode

The kiosk turns a shared device at your location into the official time clock. Employees clock in and out with a PIN — nothing to install, no biometric hardware required.

Select your name, enter a PIN, then clock in and clock out from the same kiosk session.

Hardware

Any device with a modern browser works:

  • A wall-mounted tablet (iPad, Android, or Windows tablet)
  • A phone left on the counter
  • A laptop or desktop browser

The kiosk works offline for short network drops and syncs automatically when the connection is restored.

Pairing the kiosk

  1. Open /kiosk on the device you want to use as the time clock.
  2. Sign in with your location's kiosk account.
  3. The device is now paired to that branch and ready for employee PINs.

You can re-pair a device at any time by signing out and signing in again with a different kiosk account.

Installing as a PWA

ClockTap is a Progressive Web App. After pairing, use your browser's Install app option to add ClockTap to the device home screen and run it full-screen.

Recent activity

The kiosk shows the most recent clock-ins so employees can confirm their action went through. Anyone with admin access can review the full attendance feed from the dashboard.
