Do I need biometric hardware?

No. ClockTap runs in a web browser. Staff clock in on a shared tablet or phone at the location, or on their own phone.

Which devices can I use?

Any tablet, phone, laptop or desktop with a modern browser, such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. You can install ClockTap as a PWA. The shared device then opens full screen, like an app.

Is ClockTap a free attendance tracker for the Philippines?

Yes. The Starter plan costs ₱0 a year for up to 5 employees at 1 location. You do not need a credit card. See the free attendance tracker Philippines page for what it includes.

How is my data stored?

ClockTap stores attendance records in a managed Postgres database (Neon). You can export your data as a CSV file at any time from the Attendance screen.
